A very popular BBQ restaurant is set to expand this summer in Western New York.

Chiavetta's BBQ is set to open up a new brick-and-mortar store in Lancaster this summer. They are moving into the old Al-E-Oops locations on the corner of Harris Hill and Genesee Street.

Chiavetta's BBQ is well known around Western New York for its pop up chicken and rib locations and now will have another permanent location in the 716. Currently, they have two other permanent locations. One in Lockport, located at 6100 Fisk Road, and one in Bryant located at 10654 Brant Angola Road.

Workers have already put up a "Coming Soon" sign on the new location. It just says Summer 2025, so no official open date has been announced.

If you can't wait until summer for some BBQ, there are plenty of pop-up BBQ events coming up over the next several weeks across Western New York. You can find a pop-up event near you by clicking HERE.

This is the second major restaurant to announce that they are opening up in Lancaster. Earlier this year, Papi Grande's announced they will be opening up a new location in the Village of Lancaster on Cinco De Mayo.

That new location will be at 20 West Main Street in the Village of Lancaster and will have a huge outdoor patio along with a full-service restaurant.
