Cat Being Rescued From 12th Story Ledge Is As Dramatic As You Think

Fortunately, this cat didn't use up one of its nine lives.

SPCA Singapore posted this video of workers rescuing a feline who somehow got trapped on the ledge outside a 12th story apartment.

One of the men dispatched to the scene had a GoPro camera, which he attached to the pole used to save the kitty and give all of us an extraordinary view of what took place.

It's an amazingly intricate and dramatic process, but the intensity of the situation is decreased by the incredibly comforting music. It seems misplaced, doesn't it? Instead of a lifesaving effort, the soundtrack supplied here sounds like it'd be more appropriate for a hospital touting its services, which, come to think of it, makes sense, since hospitals are also in the business of saving lives.
