Buffalo’s Italian Festival Provides a Full Menu [PICTURES]

Are you full yet? Italians seem to enjoy eating more food even after their stomachs might want a break, so it’s no wonder the Italian Festival was just a week after the Taste of Buffalo! There were four more full days (Thursday, July 12–Sunday, July 15) of food to go around in North Buffalo’s Little Italy for the 25^th Anniversary of the event on Hertel Avenue. Walking around was a good idea after just “taste-testing” some of the food that was available.

Obviously food was one of the main attractions of the event, which included a Sauce Off contest and a full schedule of cooking demonstrations, but there were also some other special events, including the Italian Idol and Miss Italian Festival competitions, a bocce tournament and plenty of music.
