Tonight's Buffalo Sabres Game Postponed

The Buffalo Sabres announced that due to the Buffalo Niagara International airport being closed their game against Columbus has been postponed.

The game will be moved to a later date in the schedule.

This was the second time a game had been rescheduled in a week for the Sabres due to the weather. The Sabres had their game against the Lighting on December 23rd moved to March.

The Buffalo Niagara International airport announced that due to the weekend blizzard, the airport would remain closed until Wednesday at 11 am.

The Buffalo Sabres are expected to be in Detroit on Thursday for their next game. It looks like the weather will cooperate and the team should be able to leave Buffalo in time for that game

This season the Sabres are looking to make the playoffs and this will be an important run for them over the next couple of months. The Sabres are currently in 5th place in the Atlantic Division.
