Here is what you need to know about the Buffalo Sabres Block Party
With the Buffalo Sabres back in the NHL plaza, the fun and games will return to the plaza in front of the KeyBank Center Arena as well, plus pour over into Canalside this year.
The Buffalo Sabres' first "Party In The Plaza" will take place on Sunday, April 19th, starting at 4:30 pm. Sabres fans will enjoy music, photo opportunities, alumni appearances, food and drink, and activities inside the Ticketmaster Alumni Plaza. The "Party In The Plaza" will happen before every home playoff game, with the activities starting three hours before game time.

Canalside Viewing Party is something new the Sabres are bringing to the table this year for the NHL playoffs. The viewing party will start two hours before game time and will allow fans to watch the game on a big screen at Canalside with other activities, like on-stage entertainment, food and beer trucks, and more.
Both events are free to attend and open to the public. The Sabres are encouraging fans who will be at the viewing party at Canalside to RSVP before heading to the event. You can do that HERE.
What You Can and Cannot Bring to the Buffalo Sabres Block Party
If you plan on attending the events, expect to be on your feet a lot. No lawn chairs will be permitted inside the Canalside viewing party area.
You cannot bring any outside food or drinks, including alcohol. There will be food and beer trucks at the events.
Both events will happen rain or shine, unless extreme weather happens where it makes being at the event unsafe.
