Feel Good Mornings With Dave Fields Mon-Fri 6am-10am
In fact, today could be the nicest day we have all week and if you want to take advantage of it there are some things you should do today.
With a high of near 80 today and plenty of sunshine, today would be a great day to call in "sick" and skip work and enjoy the weather before it goes away and snow comes back to Buffalo
EXTRA: SNOW IS IN THE FORECAST FOR MONDAY AND TUESDAY IN WNY
Here are 5 ways to enjoy the Amazing Weather today.
GRAB AN ICE CREAM TREAT AT A LOCAL ICE CREAM SHOP
Most ice cream shops are now open and today would be a great day to take the family for a cool treat. From Frosty's in Lancaster to Two Scoops in Hamburg, there are plenty of local ice cream shops to check out today.
TAKE ADVANTAGE OF ALL THE TRAILS IN WNY
We live in an area that is full of hiking trails. Throw on some hiking boots or sneakers and enjoy all that nature has to offer. Check out the Eternal Flame in Orchard Park. Hike down the Niagara Gorge, or just take a walk along the Peanut trail in Clarence.
GO ENJOY THE WATER
While Lake Erie and Lake Ontario might still be very chilly, there are plenty of other waterways to enjoy in Western New York. Kayak or hike along Buffalo Creek, The Erie Canal, or 18-mile creek.
TAKE A DRIVE WITH THE WINDOWS OPEN
Why not roll down the windows or drop the top on your ride and feel the wind and sun on your face? Drive down RT 5 or take a trip down to Olean or out East to Batavia or Brockport. Find an open road and just cruise.
FIRE UP THE GRILL
Grab some friends and family, fire up the grill, and enjoy your backyard patio or your just chill inside your garage. Hot dogs and Hamburgers are the perfect way to enjoy the day.
We normally don't get almost 80-degree days in April so get out there and enjoy it.
