Buffalo Soccer League Kicks Off 100th Season
This weekend was the official kickoff of the Buffalo District Soccer League.

The adult amateur league has been allowing some of the area's best soccer players to follow their passion for 100 years.
WHAT IS THE BUFFALO DISTRICT SOCCER LEAGUE?
The BDSL is a men's adult amateur soccer league that has teams from all over Western New York.
WHO PLAYS IN THE BUFFALO DISTRICT SOCCER LEAGUE?
The league is made up of seven different divisions. The division range from the very competitive Premier League to an over-35 league. There are currently 77 teams that play part of the league.
HOW DOES THE LEAGUE WORK?
Teams play against each other throughout the season and at the end of the season, teams with the best and worst records are either promoted or relegated. The only league that doesn't follow the promotion/relegated rules is the Over 35 league.
WHO CAN PLAY IN THE BDSL?
Anyone male amateur soccer player over the age of 18 is allowed to play in the league. Teams sign players each season and players are free to move between teams after the season.
WHEN DOES THE BDSL PLAY?
Most games are played on Sunday afternoons at local soccer fields all across Western New York. Some games might be played on different days based on weather delays or other scheduling issues. Games are played between the end of April through the month of August.
CAN I JOIN THE BDSL?
