Buffalo Bisons Make Special Weather Guarantee For Home Opener

Baseball is back in Buffalo this week and it will be the earliest opening day in Buffalo Bisons' history.

We all know how the weather can be in early Spring here in Western New York but the Bisons are offering a special weather guarantee for Friday's home opener against the Rochester Red Wings.

If the temperature at first pitch is below 50 degrees anyone who is at the game will get a free ticket to come back to a game when it is warmer outside.

That is just one of the many different promotions the Buffalo Bisons are holding this season at Sahlen Field. Also on tap this year is a Goo Goo Dolls bobblehead giveaway, Star Wars day, pickleball paddle giveaway, and Marvel superhero night. You can check out all the promotions for this season HERE.

The Bisons' schedule runs from Friday, March 28th until Sunday, September 21st when they wrap up the season at home against the Scranton/Wilkes Barre RailRiders.

The Bisons are also in the running for "Best Minor League Ballpark" in the USA Today Best 10 list. The results of that poll should be released later this week.
