Today the Buffalo Bills will be back on the field at Highmark Stadium and unlike Sunday games, there will be some changes to traffic around the stadium.

Lots at the stadium open four hours before kick-off which means that the lot will be open around 4:15 pm Private lots around the stadium may or may not open earlier. With heavy traffic expected during peak drive time in Orchard Park, you can expect major traffic delays around the stadium and along the 90 and the 219 as well.

If you are headed to the game or have to pass by the stadium between 4 and 8 pm, here are some of the road closures that will be happening for the game.

The part of Abbott Road that goes in front of the stadium will be closed to both north and southbound traffic starting at 3:15 pm. This section of Abbott Road will also be closed after the game as well. If you are parking in Lot 2 or Lot 3, you will have to come in along Route 20a. If you are parking in Lot 6, you can enter via Southwestern Blvd.

After the game traffic on Big Tree Road from Fieldhouse Drive will be two-lane, one-way traffic headed eastbound away from the stadium. Any vehicles parked west of Fieldhouse Drive must travel westbound.

Police are asking drivers not to park on the shoulder of the roadways. This will help with pedestrian safety.
