Today is the day that Bills Mafia has been waiting for ever since the Bills lost in the playoffs to the Cincinnati Bengals last season.

Today is the season opener for the Buffalo Bills. They open the season on the road in New Jersey against the Jets.

As the team gets ready for the game, so are the Bills Mafia.

Like most Bills fans, I like to believe what I do at home has a big impact on the game so I will be doing what I did when the Bills crushed New England in the playoff game.

I will be sitting on the left side of my couch drinking a "Make Me Wanna Stout" beer with an order of wings from Blasdell Pizza. Laugh if you will, but this is what I was doing the last time the Bills won. I didn't have wings or the beer when they lost.

Bills Mafia is full of superstitions on game day as well. Some people will wear the same shirt or jersey every time the team wins. As soon as they lose, they move on to a different look.
