The NFL roster deadline is looming and the Buffalo Bills are expected to make some major roster moves over the next 24 hours.

The deadline for NFL teams to get to their final 53-man roster is Tuesday, August 27th at 4 pm. That means the Bills will have to cut, trade, and move players to the practice or injury reserve before then to trim their roster to the final 53.

On Sunday, the Bills did make some moves. The team announced that they have released 7 players while placing two other players on IR.

The Buffalo Bills released the following players on Sunday:

QB Anthony Brown
WR Damiere Byrd
OL Kevin Jarvis
DE Rondell Bothroyd
LB Shayne Simon
LB Deion Jones
CB Kyron Brown

The Bills placed two players on Injured Reserve (IR):



Currently, the Buffalo Bills have 82 players left on the roster meaning that 29 players will get news that they won't make the final 53-man roster today or tomorrow.

Of course, the other 31 NFL teams will be releasing players as well, some that the Bills could try to sign and add to their roster. It will be a busy day and a half at One Bills Drive.
