The Buffalo Bills continue to get high praise from the National media and another Buffalo Bill was named one of the best at his job in the entire league.

The thing is, Bills Mafia has never seen him play in the red, white, and blue. According to the latest rankings of offensive guards in the NFL, Buffalo newcomer Rodger Saffold was named the 11th best guard in the league.

According to the website, touchdownwire.com, Saffold is in the top brackets for offensive guards in the NFL.

Saffold was drafted by the St.Louis Rams in the second round of the 2010 NFL draft. He played with St. Louis and the Las Angeles Rams until 2018. From there he signed with the Tennesse Titans and played in Nashville from 2019 until 2021.

This offseason he signed a one-year deal with the Buffalo Bills and is expected to start right away.

Saffold has played in 160 career NFL games and started 157 of them and has picked up many different awards during his NFL career.

He was a second-team All-Pro in 2017, a member of the Pro Bowl in 2021, and was part of the NFL all-rookie team in 2010.

Bills fans will have a chance to see him in action in a Bills uniform for the first time later this week and the Bills kick off their training camp on July 24th.

This year's camp returns to St. John Fisher College in Rochester and has already sold out most dates already. The Bills will kick off the season against one of Saffold's old teams the LA Rams on Thursday, September 8th.
