What Are Buffalo Bills Playoff Odds After Week 11?
The Buffalo Bills are back in the playoff hunt after beating the Jets on Sunday afternoon but what are the odds that they make the playoffs this year?
After last week's defeat to Denver, The Bills were 5-5 and the odds of making the playoffs were less than 20%.
Using the New York Times' NFL playoff simulator, here are the odds that the Buffalo Bills make it to the playoffs this year.
With the win on Sunday. The Bills are now 6-5 on the season and have a 26% chance of making the playoffs.
If we move ahead for the rest of the season and assume the Bills win 6 of their next 6 games their odds improve to 12-5, and they would have a 99% chance of making the playoffs.

If they win 5 out of their next 6 games, their odds would be at 98%.
If the Bills only win 4 out of the next 6 games, their odds of making the playoffs drop to 63%.
If the Bills go 50-50 and win 3 out of the next 6 games, their odds of making the playoffs drop to 10%.
If the Bills were to win 2 or fewer out of the next 6 games, you can pretty much say goodbye to the playoffs. Their odds would be less than 1%.
So if you are a member of the Bills Mafia, you are hoping that the spark the offense had this past Sunday continues over the next 6 weeks. The best scenario would be to run the table or lose a game to either Philly or KC and then win the rest.
If the Bills lose to Philly and KC over their next two games, they would have to pretty much win out the season for a slight chance of making the playoffs. They would also have to have other teams in the AFC lose for them to make it.
