This week the New York Jets announced they have fired their head coach Robert Saleh and this could end up being bad news for the Buffalo Bills.

According to the website www.sportico.com, teams that have fired their head coach during the season have won 43% of the next game after the firing.

That is up 16% from their winning perfect from before the coach was fired. Since 2000, teams who have fired their head coach have a 16-21 record in their next game.

That means the odds of the Jets winning on Monday Night have increased since the Jets have fired Saleh.

Some of the reasons include players trying harder and trying to impress the new coach. The new coach could have a different philosophy than the old coach which means the team playing them might not have any trends to watch for.

Will the Bills fall victim to the odds on Monday Night? They did go 1-1 against the Jets last season and lost in Primetime in the season opener.

Of course the biggest difference this year is that Aaron Rogers will be playing for the Jets. He started the game last year but was hurt on the 4th play and missed the rest of the season.
