This summer, the "Flower" City will get the spotlight shone upon it as it was announced that the Buffalo Bills will be the featured team on "Hard Knocks" during training camp.

Hard Knocks Set To Feature The Buffalo Bills

This will be the first time the Buffalo Bills will be featured during the show since it began back in 2001. "Hard Knocks" follows players, coaches, and staff during the day-to-day grind of training camp. Over the past couple of years, they have added "in season" and "Personal" series on top of the training camp series.

Is Hard Knocks A Good Or Bad Thing?

They always say that "there is no such thing as bad publicity, so to have the Bills featured on the show will give the team lots of time in the national spotlight. Many players and coaches don't like the idea of doing the show since it can become a distraction.

Both Bills GM Brandon Beane and head coach Sean McDermott were asked about "Hard Knocks" last year before camp, and it seems like they didn't love the idea of camera crews following the team around.

I think this is something that could end up hurting the Bills before the season. They have a lot of new faces on both sides of the ball, and now having to deal with camera crews is an unnecessary distraction. It would have been great for "Hard Knocks" to follow the Bills next year after they win their Super Bowl.

While I think it will be a huge distraction, I will be watching the show this Summer.
