Buffalo Bandits Throwing Massive Party On Saturday

This weekend could be a very good weekend for lacrosse fans here in Western New York.

The Bandits are set to kick off the NLL finals tonight in Albany but will be back in the 716 tomorrow night.

Since the team is on the road, there is a special viewing party tonight for fans here in Buffalo.

The team plans on throwing a massive party in the plaza before game 2 of the NLL Championship series. The party is set to start at 5 pm.

Byrne tallied a league-leading 135 points (53 goals and 82 assists) in 18 games this season, setting new single-season career highs. He ranked second in assists, third in goals, and tied for third in power-play assists among all NLL players in 2023-24.

That wasn't the only award that Byrne was nominated for this year. He along with fellow Buffalo Bandit Dhane Smith are finalists for the NLL MVP!

The NLL will announce the winner of the MVP before tonight's game.
