
Brutal Wind Chill Temperatures Expected In Western New York
It was cold and windy in Western New York yesterday and while it won't be as windy as yesterday it will be colder across the 716.
A cold weather advisory is still in place for much of Western New York this morning until 10 am and our forecasted high is only expected to be around 15 today.
With the winds that are still sweeping across Western New York, the wind chills across the area will drop below zero this morning.
At the time of this writing, some areas in Western New York were seeing -10 degrees wind chills this morning. That is COLD!
Some places in the Southern Tier are dealing with wind chills closer to -20. Jamestown was nearly -16 this morning. Little Valley and Wellsville were near -15 this morning. The City of Buffalo, Niagara Falls, and Dunkirk were all looking at wind chills around -10 this morning.

The temperatures and wind chills are expected to get a little bit better as the week progresses. We are expected to see a high near 20 for Wednesday with some lake effect snow expected. Temperatures are expected to get near freezing on Saturday and Sunday with some sunshine expected to over the weekend.
If you have to be outside today, make sure to bundle up and limit your exposure to the wind.
