The run of mild weather will end this weekend in Western New York.

Today we are looking at a day full of rain and snow mix with a high near 40, but temperatures will take a sharp drop late this evening and into the overnight hours.

We will end up having the warmest part of our Saturday around 2 am, with temperatures the rest of the day falling into the 20s. There will be scattered snow showers throughout the region as well with up to 6 inches of snow possible in some areas by Sunday night.

Wind will also be a major factor impacting the weather this weekend. Steady winds will keep the wind chills around Western New York in the teens and single digits, with some areas getting into negative wind chills Saturday night into Sunday morning.
