“Big Money” Winning Powerball Ticket In New York State

Saturday's Powerball ticket paid off big time for one lottery player in New York State as the New York State Lottery announced that there was one "Big Money" winning Powerball ticket sold.

Several Powerball players in New York State will be happy today. There was one "Big Money" winning Powerball sold from last night's drawing. That ticket matched four out of five numbers and also had the Powerball number to win the 3rd place prize of $50,000.

There were also 31 4th-place winning tickets sold in New York. Those tickets matched four out of five numbers but missed the Powerball number. 29 of those tickets won $100, while two had the Powerplay, which was 3x the prize amount, and won $300

There were 79 5th-place winning tickets sold as well. Those tickets matched three out of five numbers and also had the Powerball number to win at least $100 each.

Here were Saturday, May 24th, 202,5 winning Powerball numbers: 12-18-28-48-52 with a Powerball number of 05.

Did Anyone Win The Grand Prize Powerball Jackpot?

There was no grand prize winner from Saturday's Powerball drawing. The grand prize jackpot will now be $177 for the next drawing, which will come up on Monday.

The Powerball is drawn three times a week, every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday night. Tickets for the Powerball cost $2 each or $3 for a ticket with the Powerplay.
