We finally made it to March, and if you look around Western New York, green is popping up all over the place. From the green grass to green decorations on homes, green is the color of March and means that St. Patrick's Day is coming up as well.

If you are looking to celebrate on St. Patty's Day or beforehand, there are plenty of great spots to get in the Irish spirit and "Split The G" on a pint of Guinness.

Great Irish Bars In Western New York

JP Fitzgerald's - Located in Hamburg, JP Fitzgerald's has a huge bar and plenty of dining space. They offer Irish food like Shepard's pie, corned beef and cabbage, Reuben burger, and more. They also have a wide selection of drinks to try.

The Banshee Irish Pub - Opened in 2021, The Banshee Irish Pub keeps up the tradition of the old Darcy McGee's. They offer Irish-inspired food along with American favorites, and you can watch all the football (soccer) games there.

The Irishman - Located in Williamsville, The Irishman blends the old world with everything new. They offer food and drink in a cozy pub-like setting, much like you would get in Ireland.

Gene McCarthy’s - This staple of the St. Patrick's Day parade in Buffalo they are also home to Old First Ward Brewing Company, so you always know there are going to be good drinks there.

Kelly’s Korner - with two locations, you can find plenty of locals to hang with at either spot. Known for wings, beef on weck, and other buffalo favorites, Kelly's is also a great spot to split the G on a pint.
