This Was The Best Concert Ever At Highmark Stadium
This is the final weekend for many people to walk through the gates of Highmark Stadium as the Buffalo Bills are set to host the New York Jets on Sunday. While there have been plenty of amazing football plays during the 53-year run of the current Highmark Stadium, there have been plenty of other amazing events there, too.
This Was The Best Concert At Highmark Stadium
So this is going to be one man's opinion, my opinion, but the best non-football event at Highmark Stadium happened when the stadium was still known as Rich Stadium. It was bad on July 14th, 1994. I was in high school, and a girl I worked with (Bernadette) had an extra ticket to the show and invited me to tag along with her friends. The night was amazing, but the show was even better.
The best concert ever at the stadium was the "Face To Face" tour featuring Billy Joel and Elton John. Two amazing performers on one stage. The show opened with both of them playing a couple of songs, and then they each did their own sets before coming back together to play together to wrap everything up.

My favorite part was near the end when they both played "Piano Man." What an amazing night.
