Wednesday's Powerball drawing turned one person's ticket from $3 to $100,000.

The New York State Lottery announced that there were two "Big Money" winning tickets sold in the state from Wednesday's Powerball drawing, including one that took home $100,000.

Powerball Winners In New York State

There were two 3rd-place winning tickets sold in New York from last night's Powerball drawing. Those tickets matched four out of five numbers and also had the Powerball number. One ticket won $50,000 while the other one had the Powerplay and won $100,000.

There were also 47 4th-place winning tickets sold in New York. Those tickets matched four out of five numbers but missed the Powerball number. 41 of those tickets won $100, while the other 6 had the Powerball and won $200.

On top of those tickets, there were 112 5th-place winning tickets sold in New York. Those tickets matched three out of five numbers and had the Powerball number too. 101 of those tickets won $100, while 11 of the tickets had the Powerplay and won $200.

Wednesday's Winning Powerball Numbers

Here were last night's winning Powerball numbers: 31-59-62-65-68 with a Powerball number of 05.

Did Anyone Win The Powerball Grand Prize Jackpot?

There was no grand prize-winning ticket sold from last night's Powerball drawing. There were two 2nd place $1 million dollar tickets sold. Those tickets were sold in Michigan and Oklahoma.

Since no one won the grand prize, the jackpot for Saturday Night's Powerball drawing is now up to $700 million dollars.
