Animal Crackers Getting New Look at 116 Years

One of our favorite childhood snacks is getting a brand new look after 116 years!

The lions, tigers, and elephants that you find in your animal crackers will now be cage free! Nabisco who makes the tasty snacks announced that there will be a new design to the box that the animal crackers come in.

The old box featured the animals in cages as part of a circus because Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus was the inspiration for the cookies.

Since the circus closed in 2017, the animals are getting uncages and will become free range!
