A massive airbag recall could end up affecting millions of drivers across New York.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced that they are asking for a recall of over 67 million vehicles nationwide because of potentially faulty airbags.
The administration said the issue occurred during the manufacturing process and metal fragments could have ended up in the inflator. This could cause the airbags to shoot metal into the vehicle when inflated during an accident.
WHICH VEHICLES ARE AFFECTED BY THE POSSIBLE RECALL
General Motors have begun recalling all model years 2014 and 2017 of Buick Enclaves, Chevrolet Traverses, and GMC Acadias. GM issued a recall of one million vehicles because of issues with the airbags.
