Last week the Hallmark Channel officially put its "Countdown to Christmas" movie schedule for 2023 and it starts early.

The schedule actually kicks off in October and goes right until Christmas. That means there will be a lot of movies and in some of those movies you might notice something very familiar.

A Christmas In Vermont - Filmed in 2016, this holiday movie stars comedy legend Chevy Chase and was filmed in East Aurora and Ellicottville.

A Royal Christmas on Ice - Filmed mainly in East Aurora, you will see lots of familiar sites including Viddler's 5 and 10.

A Royal Christmas Engagement - Another movie filmed mainly in East Aurora, this film was made before A Royal Christmas on Ice and features the same concept of a prince in disguise falling for an American woman from a small town.

The Best Man Holiday - Staring Taye Diggs, Morris Chestnut, and Regina Hall. The Best Man Holiday was filmed around Buffalo and even used shots of the Bills stadium.

A Christmas Princess - Have you noticed a theme for holiday movies filmed here in Western New York? Lots of royalty coming into Buffalo. Parts of this movie were filmed in downtown Buffalo.
