$100,000 Winning Powerball Ticket Sold In New York
Monday's Powerball drawing turned out to be very lucky for one lottery player in New York.
The New York State Lottery announced that one 3rd place-winning Powerball ticket was sold in New York from Monday's drawing.
That ticket matched four out of five numbers and the Powerball, plus it had the Powerplay which was double the prize amount so that ticket won $100,000.
That ticket was the 3rd ticket in less than a week to win the 3rd place Powerball prize.

Two "Big Money" winning Powerball tickets were sold from the December 11th drawing. Both those tickets matched four out of five numbers and had the Powerball. Those tickets were sold at the Tops Market on Amherst Street in Buffalo and the Wegmans on Brewerton Road in Cicero.
Monday's winning Powerball numbers were: 9-30-33-57-61 with a Powerball of 17
Since no one claimed the grand prize from Monday's drawing, the grand prize is now $69 million dollars.
