10 “Big Money” Winning Powerball Tickets Sold In New York

One of the largest Mega Millions drawings was held on Christmas Eve and it turned out to be very lucky for several New Yorkers.

The New York State Lottery announced that there were 10 "Big Money" winning tickets sold in New York from Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing.

While no one won the grand prize jackpot of $975 million dollars, these ten tickets each won the 3rd place prize of $10,000.

Each one of the ten tickets matched four out of five numbers and also had the Megaball.

Tuesday's winning Mega Million numbers were: 11-14-38-45-46 with a Megaball of 03.

Since no one claimed the grand prize, the jackpot for Friday's Mega Millions drawing is up to $1.15 billion dollars.

This would be the 6th largest Mega Millions jackpot in lottery history.

The largest Mega Millions jackpot ever won in New York State is also the largest lottery jackpot ever won.

That happened in April of 2023, when Johnnie Taylor of New York City matched all the numbers and the Megaball and won the $476 million dollars.
