It turns out this weekend was a pretty lucky one for some Powerball players in New York State.

The New York State Lottery announced that two "Big Money" winning tickets were sold in the state from Saturday's Powerball drawing.

Each one of those tickets won the 3rd place prize of $50,000 after they matched four out of five numbers and also had the Powerball number.

The winning Powerball numbers from Saturday were 13-31-33-51-58 with a Powerball number of 15

The odds of winning the $50,000 third-place prize are 1 in 913,129.

Not too bad of a prize for beating those odds.

No one claimed the grand prize from Saturday's drawing which means tonight's Powerball jackpot has increased to $88 million dollars.

If you are looking for a big payout, the Mega Millions jackpot for Tuesday's drawing is up to $208 million dollars.
