A massive wind storm is set to sweep across parts of New York State today which could impact travel across the state.

A High Wind warning has been issued for Western New York. Peak gusts during the windstorm could reach as high as 75 miles per hour.


The strong wind gusts could lead to trees coming down and possible powerlines also coming down which led Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz to issue a travel advisory for his county today starting at 9 am.
