Western New York sends it's condolences to the family, friends, the cities of New Orleans and Utica, NY who recently lost NFL star Will Smith to senseless gun violence in New Orleans. We pray for his wife and 3 children as we mourn with NFL and with all in the Central New York area who knew and loved Will.

Donald Trump continued to bash the delegate system when he recently spoke at a rally just three hours down Interstate 90 in the Utica/Rome, New York area. Trump says that "Superdelegates make it impossible for someone to win, it's a crooked system".

If you know me, Mark Richards, you know I spent a dozen years doing radio in the Utica, New York area. My son graduated form Proctor High school. So did Will Smith, a 1999 Proctor High School graduate who went on to play college football at Ohio State where he was part of their National Championship team.

If you know anything about me, Mark Richards, you know that I'm thrilled to be back in Western New York and once again living near Buffalo, New York. When living in Central New York I could only dream about what has happened to me over the past year. Here are my top five back home goals, accomplished.

My first job was going door to door selling Buffalo Newspaper subscriptions. As a 13 year old making 15 bucks a week, I was rockin'! Well, these days, door to door sales is shunned, especially in Cheektowaga where many complaints came to the police dispatcher’s office regarding aggressive, pushy and overbearing representatives from a company called ESCO.

It's official, we have sold our North Utica, NY, home and we now reside in Derby, NY. There are many things I'm going to miss about my second favorite city in New York, Utica. Mainly, I'm really going to miss feasting on the chicken riggies, greens, and tomato pie that are a staple of Central NY cuisine.
