SNL episodes are hard, often frenzied work, so you can imagine the sort of time and dedication and stress that went into the SNL 40 show, which featured new and former cast members along with several guest stars. One of the highlights of the three and a half hour event was the return of “Celebrity Jeopardy!” with Norm MacDonald, Will Ferrell and Darrell Hammond reprising their iconic sketch roles alongside fellow SNL stars, including Kenan Thompson doing a hilarious (and timely) Bill Cosby impression. NBC has remained curiously quiet on ‘SNL’’s three-hour 40th Anniversary special on February 15, and while cameos galore are expected, our first major homecoming may have arrived. “I’ll be back,” is no longer just Arnold Schwarzenegger’s most famous movie quote and catchphase. It’s now his main business model. While doing a Q&A in England last weekend, Schwarzenegger announced there was another potential sequel in his future: ‘The Running Man,’ his 1987 sci-fi thriller based on a novel by Stephen King about a dark future where criminals compete for their lives on reality television (that dark future, apparently, was the year 2014).

Sorry Billy Crystal. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has announced that 'Family Guy' creator and 'Ted' director Seth MacFarlane will host the 85th Annual Academy Awards on February 24, 2013.
I know Eddie Murphy's movies have been a little bad lately (Norbit -- That's all I need to say), but I'm glad he is still alive, laughing and kicking.
Yesterday, Eddie Murphy once again was pronounced dead by the world of Twitter. Did his ex-wife Nicole have something to do with it? Probably not; she is enjoing starring in her show, Hollywood Exes on VH-1.
Piers Morgan, the tart-tongued British judge on ‘America’s Got Talent,’ has announced he’s leaving the television competition to focus more on his eponymous nightly talk show.
On Wednesday, he told his 1.5 million Twitter followers, “I’m leaving America’s Got Talent after 6 wonderful years. Turned out that juggling’s harder than it looks, so I’m going to focus on CNN.”
