This one may hit a little closer to home because well...he is from home. Buffalo, New York that is. This young man, Adam Mazzeo, moved to California for the Army has not seen his mom, Hellen, in quite some time. He decided that he was going to surprise her after 8 months at the restaurant that she works at, and boy, it was quite a surprise.

My grandpa served in the Army in WWII, and my cousin-in-law did two tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, so it was my honor to contact one WNY family and give them the good news...that they were about to be gifted with a $500 "thank you".
