Ahhhh.. The good ole days of travel. Do you remember the excitement of flying? I remember flying in the 70's and 80's. The airport reminded me of a fashion show, men and women were dressed in their best. There was no need to eat before you left because you were going to eat on the plane. Everyone seemed to smile, passengers, boarding agents and flight crew.

I'm going to step out of the past and in to the present. As I sat in my terminal waiting patiently for my flight that was delayed for 3 hours for maintenance this weekend. I saw a man scream at his wife then the ticket agent for the delay. He actually kicked his chubby chops as he sat in his chair.  A grown man having a temper tantrum. They were able to get him another flight"Thank God" I thought.

I'm not surprised that passengers became enraged and got into a fight.  A United Airlines plane with 144 people aboard returned to Washington-Dulles International Airport for an emergency landing escorted by two F-16 fighter jets, after a fight broke out between passengers this past weekend. According to the The Washington Post, the fight happened right after take off when a passenger lowered his seat and a passenger behind him objected. This should of never happened and shame on the both of them for not being able to settle a simple disagrement with a simple solution; moving!!! The Boeing 767 had more than enough seats.
