Making a dessert for any kind of occasion isn't always so easy.

However, here's a few ideas that are easy as cake! Of course, pun intended.

Hamburger cookies: Get a box of Nilla Wafers, a box of mint cookies (like Girl Scout thin mints, only store brand) and a can of vanilla frosting. Color the frosting green if you want it to look like lettuce; red, if you want it to look like ketchup; or yellow for mustard. Put frosting on each of 2 Nilla Wafers (buns). Put the mint cookie in the middle (hamburger). Press together. You're finished! Kathleen

Ice cream pie: Oreo crumb pie shell (pre-made), add any flavor softened ice cream, top with chocolate and caramel syrup then re-freeze. Tami

Fluff pie: Mix 1 box gelatin, 1 container yogurt and 1 tub whipped topping. Pour into graham crust and chill for 1 hour. Voila! Have fun with flavors. Katie

Peanut butter cookies: 1 egg, 1 cup peanut butter,1 cup sugar ,1 tbsp. of vanilla. Mix well, ball, flatten with a sugared fork, and bake at 350 for 11 minutes. The best cookies ever with 4 ingredients. Tracy

Homemade apple sauce: Peel a few apples and dice up. Boil until soft, like doing mashed potatoes. Drain and mash, I usually use a potato masher. Add sugar and cinnamon to taste. Holly

Chocolate dipped berries: Chop a large bar or two of semisweet chocolate and melt it in 30 second intervals in the microwave while mixing. Then hold each strawberry by the stem and dip as much as you want. Lay them on wax paper to harden. Nancy

Dump cake: Dump 1 can of pie filling and 1 can of fruit then top with a dry yellow cake mix. Melt a stick of butter and pour over the cake top with chopped pecans and coconut if you want. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes or until golden. It is very rich. I serve it over ice cream. Regenia

Triple chocolate cake: Mixed right in the pan like a dump cake, it is moist and delicious! 1 pkg. chocolate cake mix, 1 pkg. 4 serving size choc instant pudding, 4 eggs, 1 1/4 cup water, 1/4 cup oil, 1 pkg. chocolate chips. Combine all ingredients in a 13x9 pan and bake at 350 degrees for 40 - 50 minutes. Cool, cut into squares, sprinkle with confectioner's sugar. Delicious and easy! Lisa
