Well this leaves a bad taste in our mouths.  A new poll conducted by the Associated Press states that more than half of Americans surveyed are happy with their local supply of drinking water!

According to the poll via the Associated Press:

only 47 percent of Americans say they're extremely or very confident about the safety of their drinking water, while 33 percent say they're moderately confident and 18 percent are not very confident or not at all.

What do you think?  Is the quality of tap water in Buffalo or your town up-to-par?  I personally sway on this issue; my water is fine til summertime when it seems extra laden with Chlorine.

According to the Buffalo Water Authority at BuffaloWater.org, Buffalo's water intake is located at Lake Erie just before the water enters the Niagara River, and chlorine and fluoride are added to the water to disinfect and control organisms such as zebra mussels. Fluoride is additionally added to guard against tooth decay (isn't that nice).
